8 months. . .Yesterday!
This month things are a little crazy. Yesterday’s 8h month milestone crept up on me and slipped away all in the same moment. Oh well. He is still 8 months old today. I, however, am not going to do as long of a post as I have done in the past as I don’t have much time right now. Here are a few highlights.
1. Same height and weight! Woo Hoo! Maybe we have finally evened out!
2. He started crawling about 4 weeks ago for real. No more army crawl. The same day that he started crawling he started trying to pull him self up on furniture.
3. He has become quite good at pulling himself up and now, getting back down after pulling himself up on furniture. He even got adventurous one day and tried the stairs (don’t worry – I was spotting him).
4. He is still very determined. Like is father he practices and practices a skill until he masters it. It is so fun to watch.
5. Blasted Ear! We still have the same ongoing ear infection. He has an appointment this Friday with an Ear, Nose and Throat doctor to discuss the possibilities/need for tubes. I have heard so many great and encouraging things by those who have had children with them. That is so great to hear. We just want our child to feel better. There are so many days that we can tell that he is just not feeling well.
6. Eating. Or lack of eating. Isaac has decided he DOES NOT like vegetables. I have tried many things. the only thing that works is mixing fruit with his veggies. So most days he gets two cubes of veggies and one cube of fruit mixed together. I haven’t tried him on meats yet because we are constantly not sure if reactions are to food or to medicine so we try not to cause undo stress on his system. He has started eating Graduates veggie puffs and LOVES them. He gets so excited about them now.
Okay, short, huh? If I can find a few minutes (ha, ha) I will post some videos from this last month. In the meantime, here are some pictures for you – 8 month gallery.
