Feeling Good Today!

So today was day two of the first week of working out post-pregnancy and after returning I was feeling pretty darn good! So of course I thought I would take some pictures and share my euphoria with all of you!

Thanks to my friend Cortney I have committed to getting up before the sun at least two days a week to go work out at the local recreation center. Those that know me should probably be picking their jaws up off the table/desk/floor at this point. I know, I don’t do “before the sun” real well but it helps when you have someone to suffer along side you. (Feel free to send Cortney sympathy cards for having to deal with me that early in the morning). And those of you that werent’ shocked by me getting out of bed are likely shocked that I am actually working out.

So I returned home from the hour long workout (that started at 6:30am) to take a shower, fix a little breakfast – yogurt with fresh peaches and granola (I couldn’t have you thinking I ate Cocoa Pebbles after my workout), pumped for the second time that morning (an important time element, sorry) and checked Facebook (of course!). All before either of my men awoke. When the time was right I woke Isaac up for his next feeding and put him in this super cute outfit my aunt bought him – complete with the shoes that apparently my uncle insisted on. Next came time for hair and makeup. Yes, you read correctly – MAKEUP! Amazing!!!!! At least I thought so. NEVER in the last 8 weeks would I have believed you if you told me all this was possible before 9 am! People were right a baby does change your life – it usually took me until at least noon. . .to get out of bed!

So anyway, I wanted to share some pictures because I have this new hair and of course I was sure you would all want to see it again. I would have to say this is my favorite hair day since I had it done. Not that I haven’t liked it, I love it, it has just never been quite as good as that first day, until now. Sorry I am wearing the same shirt as the first picture but frankly I have only about three I look remotely good in right now and that is how it goes.

Needless to say I would say today is a good day. After all that getting ready we spent lunch visiting with my grandparents at Red Lobster and then went to visit my Aunt Barb to show off the great outfit. Now we are back home and I am comfortably sitting in front of the computer teaching my son how to play Scrabble on Facebook (I hope he can help me beat Liz this time!)
