Hangin’ With Jonas

It takes me awhile to write posts these days. With two websites to manage and a baby I want to hang with things just don’t seem to happen so quickly around blog world.

Anyway, last Friday I had the privilege of watching Jonas while Melissa went and got her hair done. (We have all just recently discovered that we can babysit swap during the day. Or maybe it is just that we are getting a bit more confident in our ability to keep babies alive!) It was great timing as Isaac was just awaking from his morning nap when Jonas arrived. Here is a bit of what happened (with commentary from me, of course).

So Jonas shows up looking all cute in this cap! He wasn’t exactly “feeling” it in this picture but you get it.

I try to take a picture of them together and they both are looking like “What, you want to take a picture? Well give us some notice will ya?”

Isaac gets it and gives flashes me his two teeth! Jonas is a little behind.

Jonas knows what to do now and gives me a great smile! Isaac is just watching Jonas to see how he does it!

Finally, some semblance of a nice picture of both of them at the same time!

Next, I tried to get some comparison shots of the length difference between Jonas and Isaac. Jonas is also tall for his age but he is also 2 months older than Isaac! I am hoping we might slow down on our lengthening the next month or so!

Then there are these great action shots as Isaac (can’t you just see the determination in his eyes) eyes Jonas’ hat and strikes with his hand. CAUGHT red handed! Meanwhile Jonas looks like he is seeing his reflection in the camera lens and wondering what is up with his hair!

And last of all, I call this the “forgiveness squeeze”. As Jonas extends an arm of friendship and forgiveness to Isaac after they talked over the whole Amaya ordeal! That Jonas is such a good guy (but I am still not sure that he is going to beat Isaac out for Amaya’s heart! We’ll see!)

** And if you would send up a prayer for Jonas that would be great! He has been really sick this week and really needs to start getting better. Pray for his momma as she is taking care of him without his dad this weekend! So HARD! Anyway, say a prayer for them please!
