Headed Home (update #3)

Unfortunately, I’m writing this from the comfort of our home. While we really were excited that, perhaps, we’d be headed home with a new little one, we are grateful that that baby will have some more time to develop. Tricia is 36 weeks and 5 days into this pregnancy, so the doctors and nurses won’t do anything to prompt the labor. This is the best thing for the baby, but it is difficult (especially) for mom.

We were in the hospital for about 8 hours. Early on in our visit, they were fairly convinced that we’d be having this baby today. However, things didn’t move quickly enough to warrant a longer stay.
