If you haven’t heard. . .

It dawned on me the other day that this is the one spot that I haven’t made our big announcement. If you aren’t on Facebook, Twitter or don’t follow my cooking blog (shame on you), you likely haven’t heard. . .we are expecting baby #2 later this year!

It was a bit of a surprise to us. We had planned to wait a couple more months to “try” but honestly didn’t mind either way. I was just so excited to learn I could get pregnant again! That is, after the shock wore off.

The next little one is due December 21st, Uncle Paul’s birthday. I expect it will be a bit early like Isaac but we will have to wait and see. And for those of you trying to quickly do the math in your head this means that the two will be 16 months apart. Whew. I am going to be busy!

We are again going to wait until the birth of the baby to find out whether it is a girl or a boy. We had so much fun waiting to find out about Isaac we thought we would go that route again.

I am almost 13 weeks along now so things seem to be simmering down a bit in the nausea department. Isaac continues to steal what little energy I have but he is well worth it. And we have lots of family that have been pitching in and helping me out in my moments of need.

Okay, I will start posting some progression pictures as soon as there is anything worth showing.
