What’s on the menu? – Update!

Since I explained the dramatic story of Isaac’s battle with getting food, I thought I would provide an update.We went to the pediatrician today for a weigh in. We were hoping for at least an oz a day weight gain. It had been four days so we were hoping to be at 7lbs 10oz. We got more than we bargained for, he was actually at 7lbs 14oz – his birth weight! Yay!!!! Happy Birthday to Ben! We were so excited. That meant that he gained 9 oz in 4 days!

I was waiting until I got today’s doctor report but I made an appointment with the lactation consultants at Kettering Medical Center to discuss looking into my low supply issue. They are absolutely fabulous there. I am going in tomorrow (Wednesday) to feed Isaac there so that they can help me figure out how we might remedy the problem. I am excited (yes, excited), perhaps we can get to the bottom of it!
